Coffee Mosaic Lover
Item num.: 50
Here is a motif for all coffee lovers, optimal as a wall hanging for kitchen or dining room! I have made the motif crosswise so that the fringes, when you are finished, are on the top and the bottom! You can therefore use the upper fringes practically for hanging and cut the lower ones to the same length and use them as fringes that way, or you can twist them together with a fringe twister! You can also crochet a cushion out of it, there I would crochet in rounds right away, so you don’t have any threads either!
INFORMATION:
This wallhanging/cushion is crocheted in the mosaic technique overlay. You will receive a 12 page PDF tutorial with a short introduction to mosaic crochet, coloured charts/diagrams for the motifs, a small photo tutorial for the stitches used and written instructions for the first rows, for an easy start. Therefore also suitable for ambitious beginners. This pattern includes a Extra - PDF file with the complete chart, so it is also suitable for an app!
Size: Width: 82 cm Height: 86 cm (with the yarn & crochet hook I used)
Yarn consumption - Acryl Yarn: 220g background colours and 200g motif colours (These are approximate figures, because everyone crochets differently, sometimes tighter or looser, etc.!!! Of course you can also crochet with other colours, as you like it! If you want to use a whirl, then I recommend to use a plain whirl as a background and the motif colour can be bright! Just make sure you get a good contrast!
Applied stitches & technique:

DC Double crochet / Sc Single crochet
DC in back loop only / Sc in back loop only
Tr Treble in front loop of st 2 rows below / Dc Double crochet in front loop of st 2 rows below

If you are a beginner, watch videos on YouTube. You will find quite a few videos there. This technique is easy to learn.
