Christmas is just around the corner! With this placemat your table will be a feast for the eyes during the Christmas season or you make a special wall hanging as a Christmas decoration, better said 2, because there are 2 different mosaic designs! Of course, you can also use the mosaic designs for a pillow. There are no limits to your creativity with these instructions! You get 2 mosaic designs in one tutorial! 2 for the price of 1!!!
This Christmas wall hanging/placemat/cushion is crocheted using the mosaic technique overlay. You get a 16 page PDF tutorial with a small introduction to mosaic crochet and mosaic combined with tapestry, 2 coloured charts/diagrams for the motifs & the charts are also additionally enlarged and divided into 2, a small photo tutorial for the stitches used and in writing for the first rows, for an easy start. Thus also suitable for ambitious beginners. The US & UK version is also available in chart form. English version only as chart
Size: Both instructions are 45 cm x 33 cm The size of your wall hanging depends very much on the yarn you choose. You can use any yarn! I crocheted it with 100% cotton from Kartopu and a 4mm crochet hook. You can easily change the size, you just have to repeat the pattern repeat.
Yarn consumption: 80 g light green, 50 g blue, 50g green (These are approximate figures, because everyone crochets differently, sometimes tighter sometimes looser etc.!!! Of course you can also crochet each part with a different colour, just as you like it!
