Sweet Penguin

Here is a cute penguin and how can it be otherwise, he loves it cold ! I confess, I prefer cold to hot and I love winter in general, maybe it’s because I was born at the beginning of winter !
You can crochet a wall hanging or a bigger cushion with this pattern or you can crochet a baby blanket ;) for the pram! I also have a cute snowman in the same size, so you can combine both, as a knee blanket, if you crochet both next to each other, or you make a bigger pillow out of it, on one side is the snowman and the other side the penguin! In this case I recommend crocheting in the round, so you don’t have to cut the threads ;)

The penguin will be about 80 cm high and 60 cm wide, with a needle size of 3.5 mm and my yarn!
Yarn info
Motif Colour black: 200 g/ Red: 50g /yellow 15g / Background Colour white: 350g - Cotton from Gründl Cotton Quick (50g/125m).
You can use any yarn, just keep in mind that the wallhanging/pillow will then be larger or smaller!

This Wallhanging is crocheted in the mosaic technique overlay. You will receive a 17 page PDF tutorial with a short introduction to mosaic crochet, coloured charts/diagrams for the motifs, a small photo tutorial for the stitches used and written instructions for the first rows, for an easy start. Therefore also suitable for ambitious beginners.
